Inspired by ‘the everyday’, the design pays homage to the surroundings. The interior accentuates the melody of zither chanting through the woods. The seating arrangement frames the river and surrounding nature to transverse to everyday life. The interior reflects the residents’ interest, ritual, and memories; where the circular ceiling personifies their travel journeys. Lighting elements procured from Kyoto glisten a warm tone to the Moroccan fossils. A space that depicts the modern and the traditional that age gracefully with the client. A living poem, where through time and every action are embedded into the fabric.
